Blackberry Farms

Wednesday Lesli and I took the kids to Blackberry Farms for the day. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!

Here is Olivia, ready to party!!!

Lesli took Ben and her kids Adelaide and Oliver on the carousel while Liv and I watched.

Then we all boarded the train. As expected, this was the highlight of Ben's day and we rode it twice.

We explored all the little buildings, and the kids posed on this bench. Oliver, in particular, really seemed to like the statue.

The kids found stuff to do all over the place that wasn't necessarily part of the plan, like trying to reach these branches, climbing up to see the horse, or running through the sprinkler. (It's hard to make out but they are holding hands in that last one, awww.)

Olivia spent most of the day in the shade of her car seat/stroller, but we did get her out a few times.

Ben is already planning our next trip to Blackberry Farms. In June the pony rides start, so I have a feeling we'll be back soon!

  1. These are some of the best ever photos of Liv! It looks like you guys had a great time. But did you every eat any blackberries? One of my favorites, but it looks like I am not going to be eating them anymore since they are high in oxalates and make kidney stones! Yuck!

  4. I wouldn't mind riding the train with Ben and seeing the Blackberry farm if you're up for another trip.
