12 Month Check-Up

Ben had his 12 month check-up today. It was pretty uneventful. He is doing well and on track. He is 30 inches and 23 lbs, 5 oz.

We switched his car seat from rear-facing to forward-facing, and he seems to like that much better. Mom sure does. It is so nice to be able to see him and reach him better.

This may be the most boring blog entry ever.

  3. Well, let's see. His favorite used to be yogurt, but he seems to have turned on his beloved yogurt as of late. Now he loves cheese. He easily polishes off one and a half string cheeses at dinner. But he prefers yellow cheese. He is not a big fan of mozzerella. He also loves goldfish crackers. He doesn't like the healthy ones I try to buy; he will only eat the goldfish brand. If he sees the bag, he points at them and whines until he is given some. Then he sqeals with delight and walks away with Dee in hot pursuit.

  4. that discription sounds just like his mama at that age...trashy cheese and cheap crackers, seems to be a family trait!

  5. Sounds like he may have high standards in food. Try a glass of Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir with his Goldfish crackers and yellow cheese.

  6. Oh, Ben and Tucker will get along so well - Tucker is a big fan of string cheese as well, but he likes the mozarella and refuses to eat the orange ones. They could share a variety bag and never argue.

Tucker was also a big fan of fruit leathers and larabars around that age!
